Fifteen months ago, I took the decision to quit my job and start an entrepreneurial career.
The idea wasn't the make of that particular point of time, but I believe it was woven in my heart throughout the years. August, 2016 was the right time to make it happen...
And it was.
A life changer.
Many things changed about my deeps, my work and my Life in general.
In celebration of my 1st anniversary in my entrepreneurial path, I am writing this article to welcome you to feel and maybe experience some of the highlights of this journey.
The Year
The beginning was not easy at all. Long hours of hard work. There was a lot to do and many difficult business decisions to take.
Two months later, I took a month off. Sleeping very well. Sitting by the seaside. Spending most of my time at home stitching, cooking and resting.
The vacation passed. Things were going well, except that it was a very busy time of my life. Never had I stayed up so late to finish key work by the deadlines.
And that's how it has been since ....
This year was a mix of extremely busy and extremely free times
A mix of tears and laughter
A mix of doubt and faith
But most importantly, a deep ... deep dive into my soul.
Life in Calm
I started experiencing Life in a motion or a rhythm that was new to me. I'd say an organic one, because the one I was used to did not feel that right (i.e. the 9-5 kind of life)
Though at times I had so many things to do, down inside I was way calmer. The new rhythm enabled me to feel more confident, stronger, happier with what I have .... and a better believer.
There were meanings about success, Life, money, self-love, family and the Universe that were revealed to me. Maybe earlier, I knew some of them. But this past year, I realised them with my soul and heart. They now form and shape my decisions and outlook on Life.
Here's some of it...
I experienced what it meant to be always provided with what I needed. At the right split of a second.
I learned that when my heart ached, more light shone from and into it.
I was taught to be real. True. Humble. To care less about what people think. Just leave it outside my system.
This quiet and probably calm pace of life opened the door to a world of possibilities I never saw as clear.
Let me conclude by saying this: The true purpose for which I decided to start this journey was to grow spiritually. To learn what it means to do my best and leave the rest to God. I learnt a lot. Most importantly, I learnt to be better at trusting Him.
Take new meaningful experiences, always.
