The monk entrepreneur
Doing my own business has always been a precious dream. Since I was 12 or 13, I dreamt of being this influential, successful and passionate business woman. And now I am living this dream.
The typical picture, as I recall from my early teen years, was a happy mom... waking up to work out, then wake my family up to have breakfast together. Once everyone has left home, I will be taking care of some family or home matters. Then, I will leave to the office. Work, socialize, enjoy and achieve. Get back, prepare to meet my husband and kids, spend quality time with them... spend quality time on my own... And life goes on so beautifully.
Today, as I am 26, the picture is the same, with some valuable additions. I see myself growing inside out. I see me a peaceful, wise and strong business woman. I started to believe that one of the attractions of this journey is the spiritual aspect.
1. Doing what one loves
Following my heart is a great thing i always do- to the best of my awareness and ability. It has always proved to be enriching. I have been practicing my passion for travel and self improvement for a very long time, almost 11 years. Now, I am turning it into a project through which i can spread my style of self empowerment and joy. Doing what one loves strengthens self love, improves one's communication with him/her self, increases self confidence and keeps one happy.
2. Working with people
I believe people are reflections of my different personality traits. Doing my own business entails partnering up with a team, connecting with suppliers and dealing with customers. Such communication opens the doors for improving my interpersonal skills, my understanding of society and my understanding of myself.
3. Being open to change
Yes. I put a plan, and then changes happen. Being an entrepreneur, I keep open to new ideas. It's natural for me, and for others I believe, to be coming up with new and better ideas as I move forward. There is an open channel of creativity and intelligence that connects me with the Source, I believe.
With these continuous improvements I grow into being an open, adaptive person who says YES to life.
Some of the changes may be challenging, though. I also say YES to them. And this is actually what I feel is very great about the entrepreneurship journey. Being de-tached from desires and wants, surrendering to the Divine will and opening up to the Whole. Whatever happens, happens for good. It's so wonderful. Are you becoming an entrepreneur soon? =)
4. Allowing good to manifest through you
Yes. We are channels for either good or evil in this life. All possibilities are there already, we should choose. Doing what I love, which is really useful to my fellow humans (=) ) is great. Not only am I enjoying myself, and creating a good life for me, but also I'm improving the quality of the lives of others. How sweet and yummy?
I believe the list goes on. Tell me how your entrepreneurship helped you grow as a person.
I just came back from a great business meeting. I am grateful for all the good that is coming to me and that I am allowing to spread.
Namaste
Happy 2016!
